Terms & Conditions

1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of Studio (the “Service”), a web photo booth operated by [ChilliBooth entity name] (ABN [ABN]). Hosts use the Service to set up events and run a photo booth on their own device; guests use the booth to take photos and collect them. By creating a host account you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policyexplains how we handle personal information, including guests’ photos.
2. Host responsibilities
- You run the booth at your event and are responsible for how it is used there.
- You must tell guests that photos are being taken and shared (the booth’s consent notice helps with this) and comply with venue rules and the law.
- You must not use the Service to capture or share photos of people who have not agreed to it, of children without a parent or guardian’s consent, or any unlawful, harmful or explicit content.
- You can hide or delete any photo from your event at any time; guests can delete their own photos from their “your photos” page.
3. Plans, credits and payment
Some features need a paid plan or credits. Prices are shown on the pricing page in Australian dollars. Credits are used for AI styles. Payments are processed by our payments provider; we do not store your card details. Refunds are handled in line with the Australian Consumer Law.
4. AI styles
When a guest picks an AI style, the photo is sent to an AI image provider to create a styled copy. The original stays available. AI output can be imperfect; you and your guests decide whether to keep it.
5. Photos and licence
Photos belong to the people who take them and the people in them. You give us a limited licence to store, process and display photos only so we can run the Service for your event (composing prints, galleries, slideshows and delivery). We do not use event photos for advertising or to train AI models.
6. Retention
Photos are kept for the gallery period of your plan and then deleted. You can delete an event, and all of its photos, earlier.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is” and our liability is limited to re-supplying the Service or refunding what you paid for the affected event. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Contact and governing law
